Red Wine Cortes de Cima Chimney 750ml

Cortes de Cima is situated on the slopes of the 400 m high mountains of Serra do Mendro, and the soils are Mediterranean brown clay over limestone. Our oldest vines, around the house and the cellar, were planted in 1991. The names of our wines come from these vineyard plots – “Cortes de Cima”, “Chaminé de Gião” and “Courela dos Pageis”. This is our most popular wine, with a consistent market performance. It is a juicy, mature and easy to drink wine, which is bottled early, usually six months after the harvest and without any aging in wood. Great cost benefit from Cortes de Cima. Producer: Cortes de Cima Country: Portugal Region: Alentejo Type: Red Dry Grape: 35% Aragonez, 30% Syrah, 15% Touriga Nacional, 15% Trincadeira, 5% Alicante Bouschet Volume: 750ml Alcohol Content: 13.5% Ageing: It aged in stainless steel vats before being bottled, without collage and with filtration. No barrel aging. Serving Temperature: 14°C to 16°C Pairing: Great versatility with meat; Spinach pappardelle with beef ragù; Fillet steaks in Madeira sauce.
